Its mid-September 2010 as I prepare for our next hunting trip...now just two and half weeks away! Thus, the thought occured to me that I should prepare a new blog to journal the trip. My original blog was designed and labeled specifically for the Montana elk hunt Dad and I went on in 2007 at Montana High Country Lodge. In considering options to journal our next hunt, I decided it would be easist to simply re-title the original "Elk" blog to be more generic...thus allowing me to journal ALL of my hunting exploits on this one blog. So now you can look here for archives of our Wisconsin whitetail hunts, my turkey hunts, and perhaps even a fish story from time to time.
So, from an orientation-to-the-site standpoint, note that archives of past hunts can be found in the left-hand column, and my most recent post will continue to be found at the top of the main body of the blog. Look elsewhere on the site for other links that I deem pertinent or worthy of sharing.
All that said.......Our next hunt, October 2-9, 2010, is for Wyoming speed goat (aka antelope)....with some sharp-tailed grouse and chukar pursuits at the tail end of the week. Dad's friend Glen will be joining us this year. Look for upcoming posts in the coming weeks, and daily updates once the hunt begins.
